NEW YORK (February 12, 2010) – Barbie® unveiled her 125th and 126th careers today, kicking off the 2010 American International Toy Fair and a year-long, global brand initiative to inspire girls of all ages. For the first time ever, Barbie® called on the world to help her select her next career. More than half a million votes were cast, and girls selected News Anchor Barbie® as Barbie® doll’s next career. While girls selected News Anchor, the popular vote went to Computer Engineer.
